Reminder: Josh Gordon has one year remaining on his rookie contract. He’s scheduled to become a restricted free agent next offseason.

Gordon is a surefire WR1 when on the field and is one of the most talented receivers in the league. It’s a big year for suspensions with him, Le’Veon Bell, and Tom Brady all suspended for four games to start the season. Gordon and RG3 played together at Baylor, though it may take some time to build a rapport this go-around. Despite his lack of playing time and familiarity with the new offense, Gordon is hardly a gamble given his offensive prowess. He can begin being drafted in the fifth round of drafts.
